Limited edition St Andrews platinum watches unveiled

A line of limited edition platinum watches celebrating one of the world’s most famous golf tournaments has been created.

Jaermann & Stubi has designed 18 special platinum timepieces to celebrate the fact that the Open Championship will be taking place for the 150th time this year.

Each watch represents one of the holes one The Old Course at St Andrews, where the tournament will be held this year, and has statistics related to that hole inscribed on the back.

Featuring a platinum case, the watch is also equipped with the company’s ‘G-Shock-Guard’ patented shock absorber, designed for golfers.
It also has a course timer so that the user can keep track of a round of golf, as well as an alligator strap and a lockable glass back.

The Open Championship will be held between July 15th and 18th at the home of golf and is set to attract the biggest names in the sport, including Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson and Tom Watson.
