Elizabeth Banks has become the latest Hollywood star to light up France with platinum jewellery.

The actress walked the red carpet at amfAR’s ‘Cinema Against AIDS’ Gala yesterday (May 20th) and was adorned with the precious metal.
Among her choices was a pair of large hoop earrings set in platinum and three platinum and diamond bracelets, all by Cartier.
The gala was the latest event at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival to attract some familiar names from the world of entertainment.

Among the other stars present were Rachel Bilson, Tom Ford and Mary J. Blige, while the night was hosted by British actor Alan Cumming.
Banks was one of the chairs for the event, which featured a cocktail reception, dinner and a live auction.

Over the past few years, she has gained a huge following for her brilliant comedic turns in movies such as ‘Zack and Miri’ and ‘The 40 Year Old Virgin’, while she has also received critical acclaim for performance in ‘W.’ and ‘Seabiscuit’.
